Bobby Brown has a new book out, so that means he has to drag a bunch of other way more famous celebrity names into it. In Every Little Step: My Story, he talks about having a sexual encounter with both Madonna and Janet Jackson. Hmm…
Compounding this insult, Brown went to US Weekly and discussed their alleged relationship. He actually says that he kicked her out of bed. At the time of their reported affair, Jackson was dating Rene Elizondo Jr., who she would later secretly wed:
“I fell in love with [Janet] when she was Penny on Good Times…It goes back that far, you know, my infatuation with her…She loved me but wasn’t in love with me.”
Brown claims that Janet Jackson told him her father wouldn’t allow her to be in a relationship with a black man. If true, that’s terribly sad for the Jackson family generally, but I am also happy that Janet never ended up paired with Bobby Brown more publicly.
In Brown’s book, he says that declaration angered him so much that he kicked her out of the hotel room where they’d just had sex, writing, “I exploded and I threw her out.”
When asked about Madonna, he said, “One of her dancers was dating a friend of mine and I guess she told my friend that Madonna wanted to meet me. We ended up going down to the studio and the next thing I know, there was some strange things happening to me… Madonna is really forceful. When she wants something, she’ll take it.”
Not sure what kind of charm Bobby Brown must have exuded in the 90s to hook all these women, but at least they’ve all moved on even if he hasn’t.
